Conclusions

• CSS can be used to improve accessibility to web documents
• Web documents that provide structure and hierachy to content eases document maintenance and exposes the document object model for processing
• Forward compatibility - design for user agents not yet released.
• Backward compatibility - accessible web documents with CSS should render gracefully in legacy user agents.
• Accessible documents benefits all users - and anticipates legislative and/or voluntary compulsion to comply
• Future dynamic generation of delivery documents via CC/PP using media-specific styles
